Water less without losing your garden
Mulch, suitable plants, drip irrigation: three steps to get through dry summers.
Even in the Basque Country, summers are getting drier. Three steps are often enough to halve watering: mulch every bed, choose drought-tolerant plants, and replace the sprinkler with drip irrigation at the foot of the plants.
During our maintenance visits, we also check for leaks and adjust the timers: a well-set system waters early in the morning, when the water does not evaporate.
